et me say, right off, that taking care of contact lenses is not a terribly difficult task. You put them in on occasion, keep them wet, go about your day. That is the plan.

I was working a Bantam game the other day.  I left the house a few minutes later than I would like, but I was still on time.  The problem with leaving a "little late" is that if you have trouble with your contact lens, you don't necessarily get the chance to fix it. That was my problem.

The lens felt funny for the whole drive to the rink, but then it was feeling better by the time I took to the ice. For the first part of the game, it was a little dry, but not any more than has happened many times before.
