TSN is our version of ESPN. Like ESPN, TSN has a primary property. Unlike ESPN, the main property is hockey and not football. Therefore, the lockout has hit the good people at TSN very hard. The result has been regular showings of classic NHL and international hockey games. They obviously anticipate a long lockout as they are rolling out the good games slowly. Canada-Finland in the 1981 Canada Cup is hardly a "classic" in most books, but it fills three hours of programming, and that is all that TSN can ask for right now.
If you can't beat them
I am not a fan of the so-called "classics," but in the absence of something else from TV to write about, I'll take it. Call me an enabler.
