t first, I will make a few things clear. I kind of like the Red Sox, especially lately. Shilling is cool, Ortiz is fun, and Pedro used to play for the Expos. (I live in Canada, remember.)
I also like Red Sox fans. They are a dedicated lot, they stick by their team through thick and thin, and they hate the Yankess. All admirable traits. However, I would not wish upon my worst enemy the curse of being a Red Sox fan.
Red Sox fans are awful people. They have a quest for something, constantly undermine their own ability to achieve that quest, and then complain, moan, and wax poetic about not getting to their goal. What kind of existence is that?
