he resignation of Andy van Hellemond has been clouded in controversy since it was announced. That is due to his shady dealings with the officials working for him. I have already covered that, so I will get into the task at hand for the NHL, finding his replacement.
I don't like my chances. Sure, I write for the most esteemed officiating magazine on the planet; and when I write about video games, I even get fan mail. Somehow, I don't think that will be quite enough. The fact that I have never worked an NHL may disqualify me, although it probably should not.
