In previous articles I've made mention of the new "checking-to-the-head" rule and the decision by the BC (Junior A) Hockey League to go without the centre red line for offside pass purposes. The BC Amateur Hockey Association followed by eliminating the red line for all levels of hockey in the province.
In those previous pieces I expressed a favourable opinion on both those changes. Now, 10 games in, I want to qualify my remarks.
