Inexperienced Linesmen

ou arrive at the rink on time and start to get ready. Joe, one of your linesmen, is there, too, so you begin talking about the game. Later, about 12 minutes before the faceoff, your second linesman, Fred, arrives and declares: "Hi, guys." Is the problem that he is late, or that he doesn't even realize he is late?

Hand me down?

As your tardy linesman empties his bag, you see the strictly old-school jersey. He's obviously going for the bumblebee look; for his white stripes are sort of a cigarette yellow, and his black stripes are a hue of gray. Catching you staring at this awful outfit, he says: "Yeah, it's a bit old. My Dad used to use it. No big deal, though; they aren't worried about what I look like."

Your interesting challenge has now devolved into a struggle to survive the evening.
